Devil's Den

Have you ever had that feeling where you need a second just to take a breather and do your own thing? I've been feeling that quite a lot lately. When I'm feeling overwhelmed, I always end up doing a solo trip somewhere to reflect on my thoughts. I highly recommend going on an adventure to anyone feeling like they need to step back for second. And if you live in Gainesville, you absolutely need to check out Devil's Den. The water is crystal clear and refreshing. It definitely takes you out of your element and feels like you're stepping into another world. Pictures don't do it justice!

The Big Show x NYC

This past January I was lucky enough to be sponsored to attend Retail's Big Show in New York City hosted by the National Retail Federation. It was a weekend full of networking, learning and, well, eating! Myself, along with seven other UF students experienced The Big Apple and all of it's glory with a smile on our faces and thankful hearts. We had a blast eating (and drinking.. shhh don't tell), exploring, and falling in love with the hustle and bustle. Let's just say we made some lifelong memories and friendships that we will never forget.

Tail{GATOR}s

If you're a Florida fan, you damn well know how to tailgate. Football season is one of my absolute favorite times of the year. By no means am I a sports expert, but boy do I love sporting events and cheering loud and proud for my Florida Gators. Honestly, out of everything during my time here at UF, football and basketball games will probably be the most missed. I can't explain to you how great it is everyday to be a Florida Gator. I've always been and will always be a Gator girl, ever since my first game in elementary school, but nothing can compare to how thankful I am for being able to attend one of the best universities in the country #NeverLeaving #GoGatorsForevaaa

Hotlanta

Okay so let me explain... These past few months have been insane for me. I've felt like I've been playing catch up ever since this school year has started. Although I've been swamped with everything due to senior year responsibilities, and just life in general, I have gone on some pretty great adventures lately and I think it's about time I share them.

Last semester I went to Atlanta with the Advertising Society on campus to visit different agencies. Of course I've been before, but theres something about exploring Atlanta with some of your closest friends and colleagues that's not quite like anything else. Here's a few pics of us looking like we came straight out of a sitcom eating our way through the big city.

P.S. Thank you for your continuous support and for checking back with my blog! I promise I'm back for good!

The Open Road

Afoot and light-hearted I take to the open road,
Healthy, free, the world before me,
The long brown path before me leading wherever I choose.

Sweet Summertime

Top+Shorts: Free People // Shoes: Vans
For some reason when I think of summertime, the first things that seem to come to my mind are popsicles, watermelon, sunshine and theme parks. Recently, I was able to steal a day off from my internship and head over to Orlando to visit one of my best friends Laura (honorable mention goes to Devin as well, even though I didn't get to see you boo, love you!). We just so happened to have enough free time to check out Universal and Islands of Adventure + Harry Potter World for the day. I'm currently in the process of reading the Harry Potter series (p.s. don't judge me for just now starting it... it was hard for my hipster heart to give in to the HP hype lol), so it was really cool to experience the "magic" at IOA. Although life seems to be consuming me at the moment, I'm really trying to adventure as much as I can on my free time. H.A.G.S. (my failed attempt at bringing back middle school yearbook lingo.. LOL). xoxo Kendall

Post-Italy Depression

Jeans+Shirt+Shoes: Urban Outfitters // Kimono: Free People
It has officially been 22 days since I have left Italy, and I couldn’t be more sad about it. I can honestly say it is the weirdest feeling being back in America. Everything feels so different! It’s really hard to explain, but basically my body longs for Italian air (super cheesy, but so true). I have to catch myself from daydreaming about what I would be doing in Italy if I were still there… who I would be with, what I would be eating and what beautiful buildings I would be walking by. Although I wish I could have stayed forever (not even joking), I had to come back for my best friend’s wedding, my internship with Macy’s and classes (unfortunately).  In my hopes to keep living the Italian lifestyle, on my day off I decided to explore the Tampa/St. Pete area and check out Oxford Exchange and the Dali Museum. Finding cool coffee shops, bookstores, museums and hipster restaurants is probably one of my favorite things to do. Here are a few pictures I took from my adventures! Thanks for stopping by my blog and supporting me through my post-Italy depression (I’m dyinggg). Xoxo Kendall
