Royals

For this fall season I have been really digging royal-esque colors (if thats even a thing). Emerald green, Ruby red, and Royal blue are my go-to fall colors because they are so rich and warm. I have been dying to wear these knee-high socks for a while now and of course I had to pair them with a royal blue baby doll dress to satisfy my royal color obsession. I am definitely not afraid to experiment and now that its finally cooler out, I am looking forward to styling with lots of layers and textures this fall season. Sleepless in Seattle

Last week I had the opportunity to attend a retail conference in Seattle called Shop.Org, through my university. This year the Shop.Org Summit focused on digital retail and was designed to educate college students across the nation on the digital and e-commerce world of the retail industry and career opportunities that are available. I am very thankful that I was able to attend this prestigious event and speak with many successful retail companies. I had a blast! So here is the breakdown of my adventures in Seattle. After arriving in Seattle and dropping my luggage off at my hotel, I decided to explore downtown and hit up Pike Place Market (5 min. from my hotel, woop woop!) where I had the most amazing turkey burger and lemon lavender soda!

Fall'in For Fall

Hip Hip Hooray it's finally fall! Even though I haven't noticed any major changes in the weather yet (Florida sucks), I know in these next few weeks the air will be crisper, the mornings cooler, and the weather nicer! Fall is one of my favorite times of the year because it means sweaters, holidays, hot coffee and boots. I mean really, who doesn't love fall? For me it hasn't gotten cool enough to whip out my fall clothes, but for now I am enjoying these last remnants of summer weather. And what better way to transition from summer to fall than with tunics. They are the perfect in between. Not too heavy, not too light, but just right! "Selfie"

Inspired by Free People's newest September Catalog and their announcement of the #FPselfieedition, I figured I would embrace my inner self[ie] and throw together a look that is one of my fall favorites! I know there is a lot of negative vibes surrounding the whole "selfie" addiction that our generation has been bombarded with, but in all honesty I don't see anything wrong with taking a photo of yourself. In my perspective, we take selflies because we feel confident, inspired, and self-assured. Occasionally we gotta show ourselves some self-love, and hey, whats the problem with sharing that beauty with others? Don't get me wrong, this is NOT a proclamation to become arrogant or big-headed. Instead, I think it is important to have self-appreciation and acceptance for our individual beauty. So take a selfie, have confidence, and just DO YOU… always.

Coffee. Cures. All.

I have a problem. The first step is admitting it right? If there is one thing you should know about me, its that I love coffee. Like really love coffee. Too much for my own good. Sundays are my favorite because I get up early and enjoy the quiet of the morning sipping my coffee. I mean I don't want to go on a rant or anything but i'll just name a few reasons why I love coffee:
