NYC Part 2

The city was unlike any other. Much different atmosphere for a small town girl from Florida. Although the trip was mostly school related, we did get some free time to explore the Big Apple! I went to the Public Library, saw Kinky Boots on Broadway, visited coffee shops, ate amazing pizza and was on VH1's Big Morning Buzz with Nick Lachey!

NYC Part 1

This past Spring Break I was lucky enough to travel to New York City with my school's Retail Center and visit an array of retail companies. We met with different members of each company's team to gain a better insight into their specific jobs. Here are some pictures of different companies we were able to speak with and some amazing window displays that I really loved while out and about shopping.

Renninger's Antique Extravaganza

For my 21st birthday this February, I wanted to have a girls weekend with my mom and go to the Renninger's Antique Extravaganza in Mount Dora, Fl. You're probably thinking, "Wow, what 21-year-old chooses to go thrifting for their 21st?"… well this girl does. I'm not really the type to go partying and stay out all night drinking. An antique festival is wayyyy more up my alley. If you don't know about Renninger's, it's an antique lovers' heaven. Three times a year Renninger's hosts an Antique Extravaganza, in Florida and Pennsylvania, with over 800 visitors selling and buying one-of-a-kind items. My mom and I had such a great time that we are hoping to make this an annual tradition. Here are a few pictures of some things I thought were pretty funky. I hope you all had a wonderful February!
