Two Holiday Outfits

Christmas is in 2 days!!! As you can tell I am quite excited. Although I do love opening presents, I really enjoy dressing up for all the parties and fancy dinners that happen around this time of year. As I have mentioned in previous posts, I have a lot of fun coming up with outfits for different events. So today I've decided to share two of my favorite holiday looks this season.

First is just a simple black maxi dress. If you have an old maxi dress that seems pretty bland, add a touch of sparkle or bling to spice it up. This jeweled belt brings this simple outfit to life. You could also pair the dress with a chunky necklace or boho headpiece if you don't have a blingy belt.

The second outfit is all about the color for me. Of course every girl needs their red dress for the holidays. If you're feeling a little on the sexy side, go for a low-cut dress and add a small belt if you want a more defined figure.

Both of these looks are super easy and effortless for all of you last minute babes that are needing some outfit inspo for the fast-approaching holidays. I hope you all have a fantastic week. Thanks for stopping by! xoxo Kendall

Tis' the Season

I love the holidays! It's seriously one of my favorite times of the year. It's such a relief when I finally finish my classes for the semester and am able to travel back home for some much needed relaxation. Not only do I get to see my friends and family, but I also get to partake in the joy of wrapping presents, listening to Christmas music and making holiday treats! Although I've been quite lazy these past few days, I did pull it together and finish up my Christmas shopping and gift wrapping. High socks and flowy dresses are my go-to lazy holiday look. If you want to look cute while still feeling comfy this holiday season, throw on an oversized sweater and some red lipstick and voila! I can't believe Christmas is exactly one week from today. I hope you all are enjoying the holidays and spending time with loved ones as am I. Have a blessed day! xoxo Kendall

Thanksgiving Feast

Happy December! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I sure did! Every year my mom and I have fun coming up with our table decor theme for the holidays, and this year I took on the project all by my self (with some help from the madre of course). So I just wanted to share with you some pictures from our setup and what I wore. I have many things to be thankful for this year and I feel so lucky to be healthy, happy and loved! I cherish these moments that I get to spend with my loved ones making memories over good food and laughter. Don't forget to stay safe this holiday season! xoxo Kendall

Fringe For Everyone

If you know me then you should know I have an obsession with fringe. I don't know what it is that makes me love fringe but all I know is I can't get enough. Wether its a fringe purse or a fringe scarf, you name it I will love it. This fall I really wanted to get a few statement pieces that I could incorporate into some of my more casual outfits. So obviously I welcomed this bag and scarf into my wardrobe. And yes I am going to wear my crop tops as long as possible! Stay tuned for more of my current fall obsessions. Thanks for stopping by! -xoxo Kendall

Dreamin' of Adventures

I know what you're thinking, why is she standing in the middle of the road? Well sometimes I randomly get inspired and I just have to take advantage of a good setting for a mini photo shoot. So in this case, the open road was calling my name and the sun rise was too perfect not to stop. I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels the need to stand in the middle of the road… it's quite exhilarating actually. It's the littlest moments like these where I wish I was going off on an adventure rather than heading to class. But hey, a girl can dream! -xoxo Kendall

Lost in a Maze

A few weekends ago my roommates and I stopped by a local fall festival in town and I couldn’t resist snapping a few pics in the corn maze. Since the weather dropped a little and I was too lazy to do my hair I threw on a cute sweater and my fav new beanie. I always end up wearing beanies because I have a hard time finding a hat or headband that fits just right. I am so thankful for the beanie trend because my abnormally shaped head would be lost in the fall! And of course I had to tie in all my favorite fall colors. Happy Autumnal Equinox! -xoxo Kendall

Floral Affair

I don't know about you, but there is something about wearing floral in the fall. Gotta love a good printed maxi dress. If you haven't realized already, I'm that girl on campus that always dresses up for class. For some reason even when I'm feeling lazy, I still feel the need to pull together a comfy cute outfit. Don't get me wrong, I'm not judging you girls that where sweatpants and t-shirts to class. It's just not for me. Picking my outfits in the morning is what I live for. Ok I'm exaggerating a little, but in all seriousness I really do enjoy pulling together my look for the day, especially when it involves a maxi dress! I hope you have as much fun picking out your outfits as I do:) As always, xoxo Kendall

Royals

For this fall season I have been really digging royal-esque colors (if thats even a thing). Emerald green, Ruby red, and Royal blue are my go-to fall colors because they are so rich and warm. I have been dying to wear these knee-high socks for a while now and of course I had to pair them with a royal blue baby doll dress to satisfy my royal color obsession.  I am definitely not afraid to experiment and now that its finally cooler out, I am looking forward to styling with lots of layers and textures this fall season. Stay tuned for more of my styling adventures and thanks for stopping by:) xoxo Kendall

Sleepless in Seattle

Last week I had the opportunity to attend a retail conference in Seattle called Shop.Org, through my university. This year the Shop.Org Summit focused on digital retail and was designed to educate college students across the nation on the digital and e-commerce world of the retail industry and career opportunities that are available. I am very thankful that I was able to attend this prestigious event and speak with many successful retail companies. I had a blast! So here is the breakdown of my adventures in Seattle. Check out my Instagram @kendalldwilliams for more frequent posts. xoxo Kendall

After arriving in Seattle and dropping my luggage off at my hotel, I decided to explore downtown and hit up Pike Place Market (5 min. from my hotel, woop woop!) where I had the most amazing turkey burger and lemon lavender soda!

Beautiful view from my hotel room

Next stop, Shop.Org 2014!

I fell in love with Seattle and cannot wait to go back! Stay tuned for more adventures:)
